Walking Weekend in Wales – Snowdonia National Park

Walking Weekend in Wales and Snowdonia National Park:

Aug 19th – 21st.

A Walking weekend in Wales including Snowdon Mountain.

Snowdonia National Park

Wales really is the land of the Valleys as Tom Jones once sang. There are numerous locations for great walks of all types from lovely coastal walks, to forest trails, open mountain tracks to more demanding hikes. On this tour we will visit one of its most famous regions, Snowdonia National Park and stay within its borders in the beautiful small town of Betws y coed (prayer house in the woods).

Snowdonia National Park covers some 823 square miles and extends inland from the coast between Penmaenmawr and Caernarfon, by way of Bethesda to Bala Lake and Llanfairfechan. There are nunerous trails and walks within the park and of course its main highlight Snowdon its self. There are many ways to the summit and even a train most of the way up from LLanberis.

We have explored much of the area and are sure that you are going to love this region of Wales and some of the walks we have chosen.
