Glencree and Lough Bray Walk:

About The Walk: Starting from the Glencree center in the Wicklow hills we will take the road around to an old hunting lodge where we can get out on to the hills. There is a nice mountain trail that we can follow up from here. This trail will bring us on to the top of the cliffs overlooking both lakes of Lough Bray Upper and Lower, with a glimpse of Lough Bray Lodge also. There might be an option to extend this walk to the top of Kippure depending on the weather.
There are some beautiful views from the start of this walk down the Glencree valley and then as we gain ground there are fantastic views of the lakes and the surrounding mountains.
How to get there:
Take the N11 from Dublin take the turn for Enniskerry. Passing through Enniskerry take the road L1011 out towards Glencree. It will take approx 20 minutes on this road.Allow time for cyclists, tractors etc. Approx 40 minutes from Dublin city.
