About The Walk: Starting from the Pier Gates which are the entrance into the Luggala Estate home of one of the Guinness family. We follow a road bringing up down into the estate next to Lough Tay and Luggala Mountain.
This is a great walk in the Guinness Estate to the summit of Knocknacloghoge and over towards Lough Dan. Then we will walk back along the banks of Lough Dan up the Luggala valley following the Cloghoge River. Beautiful views across north Wicklow and out towards the Irish Coastline.
We will have excellent views across all of the Dublin Wicklow Mountains and depending on weather Wales can also be seen from here.
What to expect: Forest track, old green roads, open mountain top trails and wonderful views.
From the summit we should have 360 views of the Wicklow mountains park, the coastline of Wicklow and Dublin.

Take the N11 from Dublin take the turn for Roundwood or Glendalough at Kilmacanogue. Come back over N11 and follow this road all the way to Roundwood.
