About The Walk: Guided Walk in Glendalough on the “Spinc” route. This definitely is one of the most beautiful walks in the area. Starting from the upper car park of Glendalough take what is know as the blue and white trail in this area. Passing along the front of the upper lake, then passing by Pollanass Waterfall and continuing on a forested track. There will be a choice to take the steps onto the Spinc or go another trail onto it.

The Spinc which basically translates into a steep drop overlooks the upper lake. We will have beautiful views from here across the whole of Glendalough Valley. We keep on this board walk around the whole of the upper lake across Gleneola river by bridge.Glendalough Then make our way back to the starting point down the zig zags and past the old mining village. This is one of the best walks in the whole of the Glendalough.

How to get there:

The best way to get to Glendalough from Dublin or Bray would be to get onto the N11 heading south. Get off it at Kilmacanogue and head for the Roundwood / Glendalough / Laragh direction. Go through Roundwood, then Annamoe and to Laragh. Follow the Road towards Glendalough and the Hotel is just on the left.
