Glen of the Downs walk:

About The Walk: This is a beautiful walk and not too strenuous overlooking the valley of the Glen of the Downs in County Wicklow. Starting the walk from the Grove pub the same place we finish, we follow the road for a while towards a lane way close to the side of a building. Then once we reach up to the forest track it is an easy flat circular route we fantastic views over Wicklow’s coastline and the Sugarloaf to our North.
We will be stopping for a bite to eat along the way so bring a packed lunch.
On our return to the Grove Bar, we can drop in for a drink before we return to Enniskerry and Dublin.
What to expect: Forest track, open mountain top, path.
expansive views of Wicklow and South Dublin, East Coastline and surrounding hills.
How to get there:
If you are driving from Dublin. Take the N11 from Dublin take the turn for Enniskerry, the road crosses back over the N11 and then there is a slip road to your left which will bring you to center of the village and the clock tower where we will meet.
