Guided Walk in Glendalough on Camaderry

Details of Walk: From the car park we will take the track through a forested area behind the educational centre. We will follow this trail up along the spur of Camaderry. From here we will head North West to cairn of Camaderry and on towards Turlough. Hill. We will then take a South Westerly direction towards Gleneola River and follow this back to towards a bridge. We could probably stop for some lunch here as we can get fantastic views of Glendalough. We then head down a zigzag trail past the old quarries and back in through a Scots pines forest back to the car park..

What to expect: Forest track, open mountain top, path, glens, waterfall and river.
expansive views of mountains and Glendalough Valley.

How to get there: The best way to get to Glendalough from Dublin or Bray would be to get onto the N11 heading south. Get off it at Kilmacanogue and head for the Roundwood / Glendalough / Laragh direction. Go through Roundwood, then Annamoe and to Laragh. Follow the Road towards Glendalough and the Hotel is just on the left.
