The Dolomites are a mountain range in the north of Italy, they sit very close to Italy’s border with Austria. You would be forgiven for thinking that you were in Austria. This area was once part of Austria and there is still a great influence in this region. We will be staying in the small mountain town of Cortina D’ampezzo which sits deep in a beautiful Alpine valley. There are an endless number of wonderful walks in this area which all offer incredible scenery and landscapes.
We have cherry picked some of the finest and most accessible walks in this region for you to enjoy.
The walks range in length from 10k – 16km approx. with choice to shorten or extend. We also use some cable cars to reach our walking trails.
We will also be staying in a beautiful mountain lodge for one of the nights so you can enjoy staying surrounded by wonderful peaks and valleys all around you.
The Portuguese Coastal Camino starts from the city of Porto. The trail travels north from Porto along the Portuguese Coast line of the Atlantic. It passes through small coastal towns in Portugal before crossing into Spain and the Province of Galicia.
On this tour we join the Portuguese Coastal Camino in the town of Baiona, with its medieval center which is situated at Vigo bay in Spain. We continue in a northern direction through beautiful and scenic locations in Galicia until we reach our final destination of Santiago.
Over the course of the week you will have completed walking over 100km (62 miles) of a Camino trail, which makes you eligible to receive your Pilgrim Certificate (Compostela)
