Wicklow also known as the garden of Ireland is just 1 hrs drive from Dublin. The Dublin Wicklow mountains are renowned for their diversity and splendid scenery and are the perfect surroundings for wonderful walks.

We will organise evry aspect of your adventure travel, we even move your bags each day to your next accommodation. This is backpacking without the backache.

The Wicklow Way starts in Dublin and takes a North to South directions right through the whole County of Wicklow and manages to cover wonderful parts of the County that are made for walkers.

The Trail does not cover very high ground and goes around rather than over most the mountains along it's path. The highest point on the Wicklow Way is White Hill which is just 635m. The length of The Wicklow Way is 128km and can be broken into many stages for the best enjoyment of it.

Getting to the Start: Marlay Park in South Dublin Rathfranham is the traditional start for the Wicklow Way.

The following Public bus routes operate to or in the vicinity of Marlay Park.

Route 16 from Santry via O’Connell Street (City Center), Georges Street and Terenure serving the Grange Road adjacent to Marlay Park.

Routes 14, 14a 48a from city center serve Ballinteer Shopping Centre and the Grange Road Marlay Park pedestrian entrance is a short walk from this bus stop.Departs from Parnell Square via O’Connell Street, St Stephens Green and Rathmines.

Taxi: From Dublin city the taxi fare should be approx €20

Transfer: A transfer for you can be organised also.

Getting back to Dublin: There are public buses that  pickup in Bunclody, Shillelagh, (Tullow close by).

We organise your return transport with the accommodation to get you back to Dublin.
