About The Walk:
This walk is not to be taken lightly at 849m it is the 2nd highest point in County Wicklow. We will be starting this walk from the road near Kilbride in west Wicklow. Approaching from the north side of the mountain and passing by a wonderful lake. This is a fantastic but challenging walk. Once at the summit the views at breathtaking on a clear day as you look to the North west to see the lakes of Blessington with the Dublin Wicklow mountains are all around you. We will then make our descent on a different track heading towards Blackhill and following an old bog road to the main road from where we started.
We will be stopping for a bite to eat along the way so bring a packed lunch..
Walking Boots are Essential for this walk.
How to get there by car:
Take the N81 out of Dublin passed Tallaght and continue onto Blessington. The West Wicklow is on your right as you enter the village.

Walking boots are essential, Rain gear, warm clothes, flask of hot drink, WATER, packed lunch, good socks, sun cream, camera and spare top in bag.
